 Cory Petersen - Director

Cory joined Northern Lakes Capital in 2025 and has over 17 years of experience in private equity investing, fund administration, and M&A consulting. Prior to joining Northern Lakes Capital, he was the Vice President of Finance and Administration at Carlson Private Capital, where he oversaw all financial, administrative, and compliance responsibilities for the firm’s fund, while also being responsible for developing and scaling the finance functions within its portfolio companies and supporting investment structuring, financing, and due diligence. Prior to joining Carlson Private Capital in 2019, Mr. Peterson was a Director at Stone Arch Capital and before that, spent over a decade in public accounting, most recently as a Director in PwC’s M&A Advisory practice, specializing in advising private equity clients on acquisitions and divestitures. 

Mr. Peterson is a graduate of St. John’s University (B.A. in Accounting) and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
